Moir Hill Walkway
Moir Hill Walkway offers a pleasant walk through native bush and pine forest south of Warkworth in the upper-North Island.
Accessed from beside Puhuehue Hill on State Highway 1, the walkway provides views out over both coasts from the Moir Hill trig and lookout. The track also passes waterfalls and meanders alongside a stream in one section.
Some sections of this walkway cross private land and visitors are asked to stick to the marked route, respect all signposted conditions of access and follow the New Zealand Outdoor Access Code.
Moir Hill Walkway can be accessed from State Highway 1, south of Warkworth. The track begins at a car park on Puhuehue Hill.
