Every year the Commission runs the Top Outdoor Spot competition, where school children can submit photos, drawings and stories/poems about their favourite outdoor places.

All of the prizes for the 2017 competition have now been awarded, with the first place winner in each category receiving theirs at a ceremony in front of their schoolmates.
